For a place to rest your head and have a quick breakfast for max 3-4 nights, I think this is perfect. The breakfast was good. They had a nice range of warm (eggs, bacon, baked beans) and cold options (cold cuts, tomatoes, cucumber, muesli, yogurt, milk), but the options are quite small and it's the same everyday, so that's why if you stay for a short time, it's ok but for longer, you might get bored. The reception area also has a bar and playroom area. Lots of people were mingling there in the evening and it had nice vibes. Staff are nice, helpful and excellent. Room is small, quiet and clean. No closet. Just hangers, attached to the wall. Bed was nice and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The AC could be adjusted (I read somewhere, it couldn't be turned off for some, but that wasn't the case for me). Location is great, just 5 mins from Dammport train station and about 20 mins walk to the center to see all the Cathedrals and sights (Gravensteen, etc). Again, if you stay for a short period and just need a place to rest your head, price-quality ratio is great. However, if you stay longer and want a range of options, may not be best for you.

It wasn't obvious to us before traveling to the hotel that the location was quite central to the center of Ghent, it was all easily within walking distance and we did not need to use public transportation. The small room was well designed, the small partition between the beds was good in prevent reading light from glaring over to the other bed & the narrow rod & shelf hanging system for the clothing was very efficient. The plastic stools also doubled nicely as side tables.

Was only there to sleep, really, but it was a very nice hotel - very 'boutique' feel to the lobby, with bar games and a nice bar area. Even when the bar is shut, you can buy beer from the small 'shop' located in the lobby - they had a nice selection of canned Belgian ales. The bedroom was small but very well appointed - nice shower and good selection of channels on the TV. The hotel is very close to Dampoort station, so ideal if you are arriving or leaving there.

Convenient hotel approx. 20-25 minutes walk from the city center and 5 minutes walk from train station. Someone can be affraid because of the location but it was ok. A lot of people and tourists are going to the train station, so you are not alone. :) The staff was friendly. There is possibility of luggage storage in locker by parking for 2 € (if you don't have cash, you can pay by card at reception and they will give you 2€ coin).

The Hotel had everything needed for an overnight or short stay. There was a bar, food for those who wanted it and breakfast. The walk into the centre was about 15/20 minutes away and easy to find. Rooms were basic but you do not need luxuries for an overnight stay. Breakfast options were good ie; continental or English with fruit, cerials and pastries.
